Martin Scorsese's multi-award-winning biopic depicting the eccentric, high-flying early years of American aviator, entrepreneur and film director Howard Hughes (Leonardo DiCaprio). Follows Hughes from the late 1920s as he undertakes the ambitious aerial war movie Hell's Angels, to the mid-1940s as he battles obsessive-compulsive disorder and attempts to get his enormous wooden flying boat (the 'Spruce Goose') in the air. Cate Blanchett - in an Oscar and BAFTA-winning performance - is screen starlet and Hughes' love interest Katharine Hepburn. Also stars Kate Beckinsale, John C. Reilly and Alan Alda.
