About Hoyts Sylvia Park
Contact & About
Hoyts Sylvia Park opened in 2007 with a Guinness World Record: the world's largest 35mm screen. Nowadays, that screen - one of Sylvia Park's two Xtremescreens - is still huge (30 metres wide and 12 metres high) but is equipped with the latest digital technology rather than celluloid projection.
Luxury viewing experiences are an option with Hoyts' premium Lux theatres. Lux offers an in-cinema dining service with hot food (from burgers, sliders and pizzas to all day breakfasts), an international wine list, beers and cocktails.
The cinema boasts Hoyts' latest customer service innovation, a self-service candy bar to go nuts in, plus a Ben & Jerry's ice cream store. It's also home to Artie's Cafe & Bar, for a pre/post/during-movie pizza and drink.
Getting Here, Map & Parking
Free parking is available around the mall. The best parking for the cinema is car parks 4 and 5, accessed from Mt Wellington Highway and Carbine Road.
If you're heading to the cinema by bus, the 32, 66, 298, 743 and 782 lines all stop at the mall.
Trains stop right at Sylvia Park also, you'll want to catch the Eastern (yellow) Line.
Specials
Hoyts Cinemas have discounted sessions throughout the week. You can find these by looking for the sessions marked 'Saver' or 'Super Saver'. The level of discounting varies, but tends to be around $5 a ticket.
There are further discounts available for Hoyts Rewards members.
