FLICKS: Hello from Flicks! How are you and what have you been up to today?
TIMPSON: I’m all fired up and ready to watch some movies. Today I have been arguing with someone on Facebook about chumping causing possible death to children.
FLICKS: Describe your most memorable cinema experience?
Absolutely too many to mention. Though watching Channel Seven news in Sydney and seeing a report on a censor throwing up about the film Men Behind the Sun and racing to the fleapit cinema in Chinatown to see the film. We were the only Europeans there and suddenly feeling very nervous when during the film actual cadavers starting popping up onscreen and wondering just how much we could actually take.
FLICKS: What is your favourite film scene?
The endings of Willy Wonka and Harold and Maude.
FLICKS: What is the last great film you saw?
Not a film per se but the special interest film called Invisible Boyfriend is hard to beat at the moment.
FLICKS: What are your two picks for the 2011 New Zealand International Film Festival?
Two gems from the Incredibly Strange – Kill List and The Innkeepers.
