A few nights ago three cinemas of lucky Flicks prizewinners got to enjoy deliciously black period comedy-drama The Favourite (opening December 26th but with some sneak screenings this weekend).
Fresh from winning a record 10 British Independent Film Awards and scoring Golden Globe nominations for all three leads (Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz), the film’s a late highlight of 2018, and is the latest from Yorgo Lanthimos, Oscar-nominated director of The Lobster.
