Documentary from Stacey Peralta (Dogtown and Z-boys) on the Bones Brigade, a gang of skaters he helped to assemble that defined skateboarding in the 1980s.
The company Powell Peralta helped to transform skateboarding as it grew from a fad to cultural significance during the 80s - and become a big business. Powell Peralta's skate team, dubbed the Bones Brigade, was made up of many of the era's greats including Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero Rodney Mullen, Mike McGill, Lance Mountain and Tommy Guerrero. They would go on to have a global influence on skate culture that stemmed in part from the videos they began retailing in 1982. These include seminal skate film The Search for Animal Chin - the first such film to have a semblance of a plot and directed by Peralta.
