Gaston Kaboré’s Adaptation of an African fable about a mute and memory-less orphan boy. Winner of the César (French Oscar) for Best French Language Film.

"Told in the rhythms and tone of traditional African storytelling, Kaboré’s film begins with a traveller discovering an unconscious boy on the plains. Mute and with no memory, the boy is taken to a village where he’s raised with love and joy by members of the Mossi tribe.
