Documentarian Ron Davis chronicles the road to sporting triumph of veteran show jumper Harry DeLeyer and Snowman, the plough horse he rescued from slaughter.
Snowman was a broken down Amish plough horse who Dutch immigrant Harry deLeyer rescued off a truck bound for the glue factory - for only $80. In less than two years, they had won the triple crown of show jumping and were the Cinderella media story of the late '50s and '60s. Now eighty-six, Harry tells the story first-hand while continuing to train on today's show jumping circuit.
