Writer-director Gabriele Muccino's (The Pursuit of Happyness) sequel to his own hit The Last Kiss, which picks up the stories of a group of middle-class 40-somethings ten year later.
"Through charting their love lives, family relations, friendships and betrayals, this film creates a detailed mosaic of a generation. Carlo (Stefano Accorsi) is now divorced from Giulia (Vittoria Puccini), the woman he cheated on. They have a 10-year-old daughter and their divorce settlement is imminent. However, Carlo would do anything to reunite with Giulia. Meanwhile, Paolo (Claudio Santamaria) is involved in a rocky relationship with Livia (Sabrina Impacciatore). Livia's ex, Adriano (Giorgio Pasotti) has been released from prison and wants to get to know his son, even though he's been absent from his life for ten years. Rounding out the group is Marco (funny and frightening Pierfrancesco Favino) and his cheating wife Veronica (Daniela Piazza)." (Italian Film Festival 2011)
