L'Avventura

Anna (Lea Massari) disappears during a boat trip to a remote island in the Mediterranean. During the ensuing search, her lover, Sandro (Gabriele Ferzetti, The Night Porter) and her best friend, Claudia (Monica Vitti, Red Desert), become involved in a romance. Their subsequent relationship becomes strained as they grapple with feelings of guilt.
