Having first screened on British televisions exactly 40 years ago the genius Monty Python lads (John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Graham Chapman) are back in a commemorative documentary.

Featuring interviews from Python members living and dead (archival footage) - as well as Steve Coogan, Steve Martin, Rowan Atkinson, Johnny Depp, Jeff Bridges, Eddie Izzard and more – Almost the Truth reveals the inner workings of the lunatic empire that included five films, about a dozen albums and several sold-out tours.
