On the Trail of Genghis Khan

Documentary TV series following Australian adventurer Tim Cope's six-year journey from Mongolia to Hungary, travelling on horseback.

Cope has bested the Eurasian wilderness on bicycle, overcome the Arctic Ocean by paddle boat and here tackles the stretch of harsh terrain between Mongolia and Hungary on horseback. The journey allows Cope to explore Genghis Khan's own story and empire, following his trail and living his way of life, albeit with a satellite phone and video camera in hand.
