Passengers (2008)

Claire (Anne Hathaway) is a young therapist whose mentor gives her the opportunity and responsibility of counselling the five survivors of a horrific plane crash. As recollections emerge, including events that contradict the airline's summary of events, Claire is drawn into incident on a personal level. In particular, her relationship with Eric (Patrick Wilson), the most secretive and least forthcoming of the surviving passengers, escalates from professional to romantic. This is complicated when she begins to suspect that the enigmatic Eric may have had a role in the tragedy, a belief reinforced when the other passengers begin to disappear mysteriously. In her first horror role, Hathaway's Claire must go to extreme lengths to uncover what really caused the fateful crash.
