I must be the 500th person to compare Perfect Days to Jim Jarmusch’s Paterson, but Wim Wenders really does achieve that seductive, cinematic, working-class zen here. Every minute beams with Kôji Yakusho’s quietly radiant performance, his solitary toilet cleaner defiantly finding contentment within his analogue life.
