Adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut Jr's classic novel on the anguish and insanity of war from director of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Billy Pilgrim (Michael Sacks) has a problem with time and keeps jumping between three key scenes in his life. The "present" is a glowing suburban bliss, the "past" is being a prisoner of World War II and experiencing the firebombing of Dresden from the wrong side; the "future" is on the planet Tralfamadore, where Billy joins the woman of his fantasies (Valerie Perrine).
