Playstation platforming icon Sly Cooper – the wily thief with guile to spare – makes his big screen debut alongside his pals Bentley the turtle (and the brains) and Murray the hippo (and the brawn) for this animated crime caper. Features the voice talent from the original videogames.

Sly learns that he comes from a long line of talented, international thieves, and is catapulted into a global adventure. Sly races to reassemble pieces of an ancient book holding the Cooper clan's family secrets before it can fall into the hands of Clockwerk — an evil metallic owl bent on ending the Cooper family line. From romantic Parisian backdrops to the lush mountains of China, gritty film noir meets bright, colourful graphic novels in this origin story of the world's greatest thief-turned-hero.

This marks the animated directorial return of Kevin Munroe, who also directed 2007's TMNT under Imagi before the animated studio closed down. Munroe is also helming the Ratchet and Clank film for Sony, due in 2015.
