Oscar-winner Adrien Brody is visionary architect László Toth in this dramatic epic from filmmaker Brady Corbet (Vox Lux), who won the Silver Lion for his direction. Having fled post-war Europe in 1947, László longs to be reunited with his wife Erzsébet (Felicity Jones, Rogue One). In desperate need of work, László's skills as an architect catch the eye of the wealthy Harrison Lee Van Buren (Guy Pearce), who hires him to oversee the construction of a monumental building. In the years that follow, they witness the birth of modern America.
