The Cable Guy

Dark comedy directed by Ben Stiller. Chip Douglas (Jim Carrey) is only Steven's (Matthew Broderick) cable guy. But after the installing his cable for free, Chip insists on a friendship. As this brotherhood grows too intense for the newly heartbroken Steven, Chip employs a psychotic cocktail of bribery, empathy and impressive persistence to make it work.
