The Cameraman

Buster Keaton is hopelessly in love with a woman (Marceline Day) working at MGM Studios in this silent classic. He takes up duties as a movie cameraman in an effort to get closer to the object of his desire. This was Keaton's first film for MGM and is one of the last in the great comedian's golden period. Shortly after, MGM took away Keaton's control over his films - effectively ending his career. The Cameraman was considered lost for years, until a print was discovered in Paris in 1968.
