Documentary following Australians Clark Carter and Chris Bray who set out to traverse more than 1,000 kilometres across a remote island in the Arctic. After battling freezing temperatures, inhospitable terrain and the island's wild animals (wolves and polar bears) for 58 days, they were forced to admit their dream was over. Three years later, they return to try again. Edited from more than 100 hours of footage shot by Carter and Bray, The Crossing won the Audience Award at Sydney Film Festival 2013.
