Winningly warm

A winningly warm Christmas film disguised as an Oscar-hungry drama, but fully deserving those accolades too. A typically great Paul Giamatti delivers delicious cynicism, matched admirably by loveable breakout star Dominic Sessa. Feeling just like a film from the '70s, the movie ultimately proves that old life lessons need repeating.
