A Japanese high school girl is caught up in a sex tape scandal in this topical fable of fake news, media sensationalism and cyber bullying.

"The story begins with high school teacher Mr. Hosono being led away by police on suspicion of having sex with minors and possessing child pornography. Attention soon shifts to Hiromi (Urara Matsubayashi), a student suspected of appearing in one of Hosono’s videos. At first Hiromi’s friends and family accept her plea of innocence. But as fake news and half-truths morph into ‘facts’, and social media gossip and hate intensifies, those closest to Hiromi begin to express doubt." (Sydney Film Festival)
