Documentary revealing the abuses carried out in Afghanistan’s Maywand District by a group of U.S. Army soldiers who dubbed themselves the “Kill Team” and relished in committing war crimes, including murder, against the civilian population.
When 21-year-old infantryman Adam Winfield tried to alert the military with the help of his father, the powers-that-be didn’t want to know. Instead, Winfield was subjected to threats from his comrades, including the suggestion that they would silence him – permanently.
Features interviews with Winfield, his parents and fellow soldiers. Winner of Best Documentary Feature at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival.
