Classic 1940's noir starring Lana Turner and John Garfield, based on the hard-boiled novel by James M. Cain in which a drifter and a married dame concoct a scheme to kill her husband.
Hired by a roadside restaurant owner, Frank (Garfield) falls for his employer’s beautiful wife, Cora (Turner).
