Turning Tide

François Cluzet (The Intouchables) stars in this high seas adventure as a sailor determined to win the Vendée Globe - a gruelling 3-month-long solo around-the-world yacht race. The directorial debut from frequent director of photography Christophe Offenstein (Tell No One).

Early misfortune sees Yann's (Cluzet) boat briefly laid up in the Canary Islands. When he rejoins the race he discovers a teenage stowaway, Mano (Samy Seghir). While realising his dream of winning is imperiled by the presence of the young Mauritian, Yann's hostility slows gives way to empathy and an understanding of Mano's predicament.
