Legless Southern inventor Dr Arliss Loveless (Kenneth Branagh) plans to rekindle the Civil War by assassinating the President. Only two men can stop him: gunfighter James West (Smith) and master-of-disguise and inventor Artemus Gordon (Kevin Kline). The two must team up to thwart Loveless' plans.
