AUT to host a live conversation with ‘The King’s Speech’ Oscar-winning writer
Script to Screen and the NZ Writers’ Guild are proud to present a conversation with Academy-award winning screenwriter David Seidler (The King’s Speech). Join chair Fiona Samuel to hear about David’s writing life, the intriguing story around making The Kings Speech, and his approach to the craft of screenwriting.
David Seidler has a vast oeuvre writing for stage, television, and feature film. In 2011, he was rewarded for his talent when he received both an Oscar and BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay for The Kings Speech. David is in New Zealand mentoring at Script to Screen’s Writers’ Lab Aotearoa.
