With a snap of its fingers, Avengers: Endgame instantly rose to the top of the New Zealand box office. Grossing almost $2 million, the culmative Marvel Cinematic Universe film took the #1 spot this week with just one day of release (it opened Wednesday, 24 April).
It earned three times as much as 2nd place film Shazam! this week and more than Dumbo‘s entire theatrical run. Just take a good look at the graph below for a better depiction of this absolute thrashing.
