Avengers: Endgame earns $11 million in just under two weeks at NZ box office
“I can do this all day.” Yeah, we know Endgame, you’ll keep raking in all that money from Aotearoa and worldwide until you own the world. Or, at least, take over Avatar as the highest-grossing movie ever made—and that’s looking likely.
Just under two weeks at the New Zealand box office, Avengers: Endgame grossed a whopping $11.56 million, leaving every other new release in the dust over this past weekend. Second place film Long Shot proved just how long of a shot it had at making a decent buck while The Chaperone and The Aftermath duked it out for third place. See the full report below.
Worldwide, it took Endgame 11 days to reach USD$2 billion—a feat that took Avatar a month and a half to achieve—and is currently sitting on USD$2.189 billion. That means it’s only half a billion away from being crowned (or gloved, if you will) the biggest movie of all existence.
