Bad Boys: Ride or Die
What is Bad Boys: Ride or Die about?
After their old commanding officer, the late and much-missed Captain Howard, who bought the farm in the last movie, is accused of being in cahoots with a drug cartel, the boys set out to clear his name. Whoops! Mike and Miles get framed too, and promptly escape custody in order to take down the real bad guys. Cue gunfights, chases, brawls, explosions—you know, the usual. This one comes to us from the directing team of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who also called the shots on Bad Boys for Life, so we’re in good hands. Bet Batgirl would have been pretty rad, too, now that you mention it.
The cast of Bad Boys: Ride or Die
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back as our heroes, and frankly it’d be weird if they weren’t. Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, and Paola Núñez return as their fellow members of AMMO, the elite police squad introduced in Bad Boys for Life. Eric Dane (Euphoria) is the villain, Banker, so that’s one mystery solved, and Jacob Scipio returns as Armando Aretas, Mike’s assassin son, who was introduced in the last film.
But most importantly, Joe Pantoliano gets a post-mortem appearance as Captain Howard. Justice for Joey Pants!
