Raj Sonny Kapoor responded to a request on 20th Century Fox’s Facebook page for ideas to promote the NZ premiere of The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. His idea was judged the best and he now happily finds himself driving this brightly decorated tuk-tuk, overflowing with marigolds, from Christchurch to Auckland for the premiere on February 22.
Called The Marigold Journey, the tuk-tuk and Raj are taking flowers and decorations to the premiere – stopping at cinemas along the way at Rangiora, Kaikoura, Nelson, Wellington, Palmerston North, Havelock North, Napier and Hamilton.
