How to watch the new season of Atlanta in Aotearoa
Donald Glover brings his Emmy-winning show Atlanta to Europe with its third season – and it’s heading to New Zealand too.
You can take the man out of Atlanta, but you can’t take Atlanta out of the man. That appears to be the philosophy behind the new season of Donald Glover’s beloved Emmy-winning surrealist comedy series about a hip-hop manager and his rising star cousin.
Atlanta: Season 3 kicks off where Robbin’ Season ended with the crew heading overseas for a European tour. As the trailer below reveals, they’re in for a bit of a culture shock, and anyone who’s kept up with this frequently unpredictable show will know, there’s no way to know where it’s all headed.
Glover returns on-screen with fellow key players Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz and LaKeith Stanfield. All four of them have done bloody well for themselves since the show first aired: Glover’s officially a part of Star Wars, Henry recently starred in both Eternals and Godzilla vs Kong, Beetz been in both a Marvel and DC film, and Stanfield most recently earned an Oscar nomination for Judas and the Black Messiah.
Aotearoa can see these screen juggernauts jump back into Atlanta when season 3 premieres on Neon with a double episode March 26. The first two seasons are currently available on Netflix.
