What is Chiefsaholic: A Wolf in Chiefs Clothing about?
Directed by Dylan Sires, Chiefsaholic: A Wolf in Chiefs Clothing takes us into the wild world of famous (for a certain value of fame) football fan Xaviar Babudar, aka ChiefsAholic, who made his mark on social media by jumping around in an elaborate wold costume at Chiefs games, before being arrested for a string of bank robberies in 2022. He did ’em, too. Babudar, aged 30, was handed a 17 year sentence in September for 11 robberies across seven states, laundering the money through casinos.
Babudar claims he has a gambling addiction, but authorities noted he had an addiction to the Chiefs, funding his fandom with the proceeds from his robberies. This feature documentary promises to dig into the whole sorry mess, with help from interviews granted by Babudar himself.

Xaviar Babudar, of course, and presumably a lot of cops, lawyers, and football players. No further info is available.

Why we’re excited about Chiefsaholic: A Wolf in Chiefs Clothing
Well, it’s different, we’ll give you that. At first glance it seemed like a dive into sports fan culture, which is interesting enough (check out the Patton Oswalt-starring Big Fan for a particularly dark take), but then you add in that oh-so-intriguing true crime factor, and this starts to look really interesting. Hopefully we’ll get some insight into the psychology underpinning Babudar’s actions, but the facts alone make the whole thing compelling.
