What is Zero Day about?

Created by political journalists Michael S. Schmidt and Noah Oppenheim, along with Narcos showrunner Eric Newman, Zero Day sees the United States subjected to what’s being described as “a crippling cyberattack” that sends air traffic control systems haywire, collapses informational infrastructure, and spawns wild conspiracy theories as to who might be behind it all. Why we’re excited about Zero Day

Hey, big Bob De Niro in a taut, timely political thriller? You could not keep us away at howitzer-point. This is the kind of handsomely mounted prestige series that we’ve been missing. And it seems like it might have a few things to say about the US’s current political moment, despite Netflix’s publicists really wishing it didn’t.
