Jojo Rabbit tickets are now on sale
For those worried that woke culture has killed comedy, never fear—you can watch Taika Waititi playing an imaginary Hitler when Jojo Rabbit releases in Aotearoa cinemas in just a matter of weeks (24 October, to be exact).
The story follows a lonely German boy (newcomer Roman Griffin Davis) who is upended when he discovers that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie, Leave No Trace) in their attic. Aided only by his moronic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler, Jojo starts to confront his blind nationalism.
