Kiwi Hipsters and Austr-Aliens to Feature in Arohanui Film Festival
The Arohanui Film Festival – a hearty celebration of the film-making community – is preparing to launch its 2015 programme. For more info on the Waikato-based event, check out their website.
Prior to the programme’s official launch, we’ve been given details on three films appearing in the festival – including the world premiere of a New Zealand feature.
Penny Black
Independent New Zealand road tripping drama following a high-class, tumultuous supermodel who runs into a shady anarchist and his zebra van.
Penny Black will make its World Premiere on Friday 30th October.
Australiens
Aliens kidnap the mother of an Aussie girl who believes she was gifted with superhuman abilities in this science-fiction comedy.
Australiens will make its New Zealand Premiere on Saturday 31st October.
