‘Mt Zion’ Takes Flicks’ People’s Choice Award at NZMPIC 2013

The people of Flicks have spoken! Mt Zion has won the Flicks People’s Choice Award for Best Film 2012/13 at last week’s NZMPIC awards – which take place at the conclusion of each year’s annual film industry conference. Neither stars of the film, Temuera Morrison or Stan Walker, could make it to the event, so we Photoshopped Tem in using the cover of his book From Haka to Hollywood and Stan from his album Let the Music Play. Close enough.

Two New Zealand cinemas picked up the remaining Flicks People’s Choice awards: Reading Cinemas The Palms Christchurch for Best Circuit Cinema 2012/13 and Monterey Cinemas Howick for Best Independent Cinema 2012/13.
