After “pitch-slapping” the Box Office, a capella comedy hit Pitch Perfect has earned itself a sequel. According to Collider, Pitch Perfect 2 is in the development pipeline gearing up for a 2015 release. No word has been given on whether Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and the rest of the cast will reprise their roles nor whether director Jason Moore and producer Elizabeth Banks will return or not.
The original was a total crowd-pleaser, with Dom calling it “an impossible-to-dislike burst of positive energy”. It even gave Aaron the chuckles, and he’s “generally a moody curmudgeon”. I still haven’t seen it, but you can safely assume that I’d love it, considering my guilty pleasures include Bring It On and Glee: Season 1.
