The writers’ lab 2014
Script to Screen is proud to bring you The Writers’ Lab Aotearoa.
The writers of up to six feature film projects will be awarded a place on the lab programme, attending a five-day residential lab where they will workshop their scripts with esteemed international and local mentors.
We are thrilled that US screenwriter and long-standing Sundance Screenwriters’ Lab Advisor, Michael Goldenberg (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Contact), will join us as a mentor for the inaugural lab this July.
The programme will also provide wrap-around support for participants in the 12 months following the lab including financial support for a read-through with professional actors and a dramaturge.
Applications for the Writers’ Lab Aotearoa will open in the coming weeks and will close on 28 April 2014, with the residential lab taking place in early July. Applicants must have a draft of a feature film script that is at the right stage for intensive workshopping.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be equipped and inspired to do your best work.
The Writers’ Lab Aotearoa is brought to you with support from the New Zealand Writers’ Guild and financial assistance from New Zealand Film Commission.
