Watch: 10 Three-Minute Kiwi Documentaries from ‘Loading Docs’

Loading Docs is a launchpad for New Zealand documentary shorts, comprised of 10 three-minute docos from talented local filmmakers. And here’s the best part: you can watch any of them right now for free by visiting the Loading Docs website.

The film line-up includes:

Catkiller by Aidee Walker and Alexander Gandar

Dans by Joel Kefali and Amber Easby

Homing by Andrew Scott

Living Like Kings by Zoe McIntosh

Queer Selfies by Robyn Paterson and Paula Boock

Stop/Go by Greg Jennings and Jack Nicol

The Jump by Alex Sutherland and Rebekah Kelly

The Road to Whakarae by Tim Worrall and Aaron Smart

Today by Prisca Bouchet and Nick Mayow

Wayne by Kirsty Griffin and Vivienne Kernick

“The three-minute format presented our filmmakers with a really tough challenge, but it also pushed them to be creative and original in their approach to documentary storytelling”, says Loading Docs producer Julia Parnell. “The result is ten remarkable short films that will capture viewers’ attention and imagination. Even though the films are very short they still have the power to move, entertain, challenge and inspire”.

So if you’ve got a spare minute or three (or 30), check ’em out and tell your friends about it.
