Where and when you can watch the Oscars this Monday
If you are reading this, there’s a very high likelihood that—like ourselves—you are looking forward to the 91st Academy Awards. And—again, like ourselves—you’ve likely been wondering how to watch them.
This year, screening rights to the Oscars telecast have been prised away from SKY TV, and the ceremony will air on TVNZ 2. Thanks to international datelines, physics etc., Hollywood’s big night takes place on our Monday afternoon, so those of us unable to get away from our desks will also be able to watch the (possibly) work-related proceedings online via TVNZ OnDemand.
On Monday 25 February, red carpet coverage begins at 12:30pm, with the awards live from 2pm.
If you are thinking about watching the ceremony, you are exactly the sort of movie buff who should also consider entering our Oscar tipping competition, which will see one movie genius crowned the 2019 Oscar-Tipping champion of NZ (and given the t-shirt and mug to prove it). Enter here.
Who are we picking to win awards? Not telling!
