Taika Waititi, New Zealand’s Oscar-nominated filmmaker behind Boy and What We Do in the Shadows, is more than deserving of that Marvel movie fame. Hell, we’d even say it’s his birth-right.
In our ideal world, he’d be donning a cinema cape right bloody now in Avengers: Age of Ultron. But what superhero would suit him best? We asked you, and you responded superbly and resoundingly with the moustached magician Dr. Strange. Suck it, Cumberbatch.
To be fair though, Taika would have crushed it in any of the runner-up choices. (There’s still legitimate hope for him to play Howard the Duck.)
