First Cow, the acclaimed drama by Kelly Reichardt, is coming to cinemas – and we’re giving away tickets.

Inexplicably overlooked in this year’s Oscar nominations, First Cow is finally headed to Aotearoa cinemas on April 29. Kelly Reichardt’s latest follows two men in 19th century Oregon who move from fur trapping to milk-based entrepreneurs as they seek to carve out a place for themselves in a rough world. With a 95% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes, and featuring heavily on best of 2020 lists in the US, this one comes highly recommended.
