Episode 1

Former science teacher Tony Conroy now works the night shift... More as a taxi driver in Liverpool, living a solitary life as he drifts through the monotony of picking up and dropping off passengers night in and night out. After an uncomfortable conversation with a former colleague, Tony feels a desperate need to talk to someone and decides to call late-night radio show NightTalk. Thriller, starring Robert Glenister and Sean Pertwee.

The awful realisation of what Tony has done starts to... More dawn on him and he goes into survival mode, trying to cover up the horror of the previous night and asking Rob for help. On Lawrence's radio show, the incident is big news, but as Tony listens to what the callers have to say, he gradually feels bolstered and somehow starts to reconcile the awful thing he's done.

Rob advises Tony to leave town, revealing Ste Murray is... A vengeful Tony creeps into Lawrence's house to face him.... More Lawrence thinks he's being burgled, until he recognises the intruder as the cabbie who picked him up earlier that night. He heads for the kitchen to call the police but there's a scuffle. Tony grabs a kitchen knife and Lawrence is forced to do what he says. Thriller, starring Robert Glenister.
