Netflix's five-episode follow-up to one of its biggest-ever series - 2020's Tiger King. That true crime docuseries followed the flamboyant big cat zoo keeper Joe Exotic and his explosive rivalry with big cat sanctuary owner Carole Baskin.
For this second season, Netflix promises "just as much mayhem and madness" but one person absent will be Baskin. She was not a fan of how she was portrayed, nor of the backlash she suffered after the original aired. In a statement in early 2021 she said: "[Series director] Rebecca Chaiklin said she wanted to 'clear the air' about what they did to me in Tiger King. I told her to lose my number. There is no explanation for such a betrayal and false portrayal."
